This version of IPC is based on information from the Family Budget Survey (POF) that IBRE/FGV conducted in 200/2003 related to the expenditures of families whose members are mostly over 60 years of age. This IPC version makes it possible to observe how changes in the cost of living affect a growing portion of the Brazilian population.
Historical Series General results can be obtained free on IBRE’s portal. Detailed consultation on most of the historical series is restricted to IBRE/FGV Data subscribers. Learn about our subscription lans and free services.
