The Monetary Policy Monitor is a semestral product of FGV/IBRE's Center for Monetary Studies (CEM). It was created to consolidate systematic studies of the monetary policies adopted by major central banks, including actions taken by the Central Bank of Brazil.
The CEM team works to encourage interest and research in the monetary field in Brazil. Its academic investigations are designed to allow us to understand past episodes of monetary policy and to inform future domestic or foreign strategies.
